Originally from Nigeria, John Adeseko moved to the Capital district 7 years ago after spending most of his young adult life in Indiana where he played high school and college soccer. While in Indiana, he led the FC Indiana Men 2009/10 Semi-Pro team to a division title in the NPSL league.

He is currently the Men’s Head Soccer Coach at Albany College of Pharmacy where he wrapped up his first year. In his first year as the Men’s Coach, he led the team to their first Conference title and his team ranked as high as 5th in the country.

He also spent years coaching local clubs in the Albany area, including East Greenbush and Clifton Park Soccer Club. John is the Technical Director of coaching at Alpha Formz – a private supplemental training that focuses on teaching young players how to play with pace, speed, and under control while still emphasizing ball mastery.

John is not that hard to find, at any given day you can find him at one of the Afirm’s locations: coaching, playing or watching his kids play in the youth league. With over 20 years of coaching experience, John brings a fun, exciting, and innovative approach to the game that benefits and entertains fans and players.
