Gustavo da Costa is the current head coach for Bryant & Stratton Women's Soccer Team in Albany, NY.

Originally from Brazil, Gustavo grew up playing in youth academies while developing his skills and passion for the game. His love for soccer brought him to the United States in 1998, where he received a full scholarship to play for Mercy College NCAA D2 while he obtained a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Science.

Gustavo spent the last 20 years coaching at various levels of play, including junior varsity, varsity and college.

Highlights and achievements throughout his career, include several league titles and championships and being recognized twice as coach of the year of the NYS Colonial council.

Gustavo is a well known and respected member of the soccer community that has cultivated here in the Capital Region. Gustavo was a former member of the Shockers semi-professional indoor team and is excited and honored to return to the Shockers as a member of the coaching staff.
